画期的なブラウザー協業テクノロジー、GoInstantが、今日（米国時間9/13）のTechCrunch Disruptで限定ベータテストを開始した。追加のプラグインやソフトをダウンロードすることなく、他の人とウェブサーフィンを共体験できる初めてのサービスだ。
Mac、PC、iOSやAndroid、Blackberryなどのモバイル機器など、あらゆるブラウジング機器上で、GoInstantを使えば同じURL上で協業したり、リンクを共有したり、新たに共通ブラウジングのセッションを開始できる。
共Node.js、Socket.ioおよびRedisを使うことで、GoInstantが一切のダウンロードを必要としていないことは注目に値する。
Uhmaは、このアプリの利用形態はSaaSで、簡単な自動共同ブラウジングは企業内プレゼンや顧客サポートに非常に有用であり、「誰かに自社製品を説明するよりも、サインアップしてログインすれば、どうやって使うかを見せることができる」と言っている。
Uhmaはライバルとして、WebEx、join.me、Glance、GoToMeetingなどの画面共有や協業チールを考えているが、GoInstantが他を差別化しているのは、パソコンではなくウェブ向けに作られていることだ。このテクノロジーは、すぐに使えて、ウェブページの最大解像度で表示されるよう意図的に作られている。
GoInstantは、企業に対して月額ユーザー当たりの料金を課金することで収益化する計画だ。
